I will rejoice!

I started this blog back in September. The day before I started this blog I suffered a miscarriage and just wanted to write something and let it go off into the world unknown. There was something comforting about pressing POST and walking away. Getting on blogger would help me not face the icky reality at hand. I was losing a baby.
Somehow, life moved on. I returned back to work and life was normal. There have been moments, (a wedding, my birthday, little memories, Easter) where I shed tears, but for the most part, I go along and found ~I do laugh, do have fun, live my life, love my husband, enjoy my world around me.
Today, is a special day, it was my due date. I DO realize that MOST women do not give birth to their baby ON their due date. BUT, this is one of the memories I have of being pregnant. Dreaming what day the baby would be born. Thinking HOW FAR away April really was.

Now, the day has arrived.

During the miscarriage I PROMISED myself that Wil and I would get away on our due date. Just to get out of the normal routine of our everyday life. Do something and celebrate how far we have come.
Today, I refuse to be sad. I refuse to cry over what might have been. Today I rejoice. I rejoice that I'm back to normal. I rejoice that I have a wonderful husband and a strong marriage. I rejoice that I am able to get pregnant. I rejoice that Heaven has gotten sweeter since Sept. I rejoice that God is still in control and although we sometimes don't understand His ways, He has a plan. I rejoice in His faithfulness and know that He has everything under control.

Once again, I stand by my LIFE VERSE...

In His Time He makes everything Beautiful...

V.A.C.A.T.I.O.N.

This Thursday Wil and I are taking a little getaway. We are leaving Thursday morning and come back Friday night. We both took two days off work. We plan just to soak up some quality time together and enjoy some sites.

I am soooooo looking forward to it. This has been a dream of mine for some time to JUST get away and enjoy life.

So....Thursday, I can't wait for you!

Little Women...

Countless times I have started the book LITTLE WOMEN only to NEVER finish it. Finally, these past few weeks, I told myself I WILL finish. Tonight, I did.
The problem was I SAW the movie BEFORE I read the book. I'll never read the book, if I watched the movie.
BUT, I loved the book. Loved the movie, loved the plot...you get the point.
When I need to clean my house, I'll put in the movie and have it playing in the background. I get MORE work done. Little Women helps me to be productive.
So...in honor of FINISHING the book....some pictures please!

My all-time favorite version! My cousin received TWO for Christmas one year and gave me one!

The 1st version I'd ever seen. Loved it beyond words.

NOW, when they say have you READ Little Women, I can honestly say, "Yes! Loved every part of it!"

Today, at 3:00 I'm going to the park. Some of my friends are all meeting there and we are going to walk around the lake. This is really the 1st time I've GONE somewhere this spring to enjoy the weather.
I'm happy.
I'm excited.
The school day can't get over fast enough.
So much fun....

Current read...

Hidden by Shelley Shepard Gray is the current book I'm reading. Growing up I was completely captured by Amish and Mennonite living. Now, that I'm married into a family of Mennonites, I think I'm MORE confused about them than before.

So far, this book is really good. Very relaxing read...(My fave!) Very interesting and has me wondering what is going to happen.
