Day 3: walking

Today Wil and I had a SUPER busy day. Wil had to work and I had to be with my sister Libby! So, we didn't get to really see each other until supper...and I rushed off to my Wife Class at church. After class, we went for a one mile walk. AND, preggo brain FoRgOt her camera. Ugh. So, just pretend that you see some amazing sunsets and a very pregnant lady and her husband and his dog walking on the trail behind our house.

Can't you see it??

Yes, it's quite amazing.

The sunset is sooo beautiful.

Oh...poor girl...is walking like a duck!

But, it was wonderful.

On another note, I went on a walk with my brother, sister, and brother in law today. We walked a mile. It was great fun and those 3 make me laugh so much it was quite hard to walk and laugh at the same time.

Then, around 3pm mom told me to head for another walk. Being the always obedient daughter that I am (smile) I obeyed and grabbed my ipod and headed out. I got halfway through the walk and a song came on called Through It All. As I was walking, I began to cry because this song got me THROUGH my miscarriage over a year and a half ago. During that trial, I clung to that song and if I remember right, I listened to it OVER and OVER again. I would cry and cry knowing that GOD was still in control and even though I didn't KNOW the whole reason WHY I was going through a miscarriage, GOD was STILL in control and still GOD.

SO, today, as I was walking, I started to cry...and God spoke and said, "I'm STILL the same God who took you through that miscarriage. I'm the SAME God that is giving YOU this baby. This song will forever mark your TRUST and HOPE in me." I knew that it was an amazing moment that I'll never forget. Here I was, almost TWO years later, crying over the same song, but these tears were tears of JOY of how much GOD had done in my life. AND it gave me HOPE that this baby WOULD COME. SOON. I KNOW I will never forget that moment (I'm sure the cars passing me seeing a VERY pregnant woman CRYING won't themselves!) BUT, I didn't care, God was speaking to me...and I was listening.

So, although I didn't get PICTURES of this day...it will ALWAYS be a day I'll never forget!

THROUGH IT ALL, THROUGH IT ALL, I'VE LEARNED TO TRUST IN JESUS, I'VE LEARNED TO TRUST IN GOD. THROUGH IT ALL, THOUGH IT ALL, I'VE LEARNED TO DEPEND UPON HIS WORD.
